On 22 March 2018, FoodDrinkEurope launched a Manifesto " For a Single market with a purpose". As member of FoodDrinkEurope, we fully support this important initiative to celebrate the progress the single market has brought to businesses and citizens at large. The Manifesto provides a short overview of the benefits and outstanding challenges of the Single Market for food and drink products.
Using testimonies from small and large companies to demonstrate the sector’s commitment to the Single Market, the Manifesto proposes some policy recommendations to further reinforce what it sees as the most significant achievement of the European Union.
