www.BebaComCabeca.pt is a digital tool designed by ANEBE (Association of Portuguese spirits producers) to support smart consumption of alcohol beverages. It includes a calculator that would give consumers (considering gender, weight and drinking patterns) an estimate of Blood Alcohol Concentration and calorie intake (from pure alcohol) based on reported consumption.
"The aim is to provide credible and consistent information on the consumption of alcoholic beverages, timely information so that people can make clearer and more consistent choices in favour of moderate, smart drinking patterns” said Rui Pedro Duarte, Secretary General of ANEBE who emphasized that “nonetheless, the safest option is always not to drive after drinking”.
Initially developed and substantially improved in 2017, this website became a reference of sound information and friendly advices to alcoholic beverages consumers in Portugal. Its outreach has been growing over the last 2 years with 214.115 unique visitors to the website of which 74% are between 18 and 44 years old.
