Traineeship Position at spiritsEUROPE

spiritsEUROPE represents the EU spirits producers in Brussels and is actively engaged in all policy issues relevant to the sector, including external trade, the internal market, social aspects of spirits consumption, production, taxation, communications, and events.

When: Starting as soon as possible and ending by the end of July 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Directors in their daily activities to defend and promote the sector's interests.
  • Monitor EU policy developments relevant to the spirits industry.
  • Represent the association at meetings with EU institutions and stakeholders.
  • Support the day-to-day work and operations of the Secretariat.

Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • Good understanding of the EU institutions and policy-making processes.
  • Excellent command of English; additional language is an asset.
  • Strong team spirit, communication skills, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work in a small, busy, multilingual environment.
  • Fast learner with a mature, proactive, and responsible attitude.
  • The University must provide health insurance and social security coverage (“Convention de Stage”).
