More than 300 people attended the spirits SUMMIT and cocktail this year. This was a huge success and was thanks to the great panel composed of MEP Danuta Hübner; Susan Danger, CEO of Amcham EU; Patricia Callan, Director of Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland; and Jose Luis Hermoso, Research Director at IWSR. Commissioner Hogan was also present to close the panel and offer his vision for the sector.
The cocktail was a fantastic opportunity for participants to share some gossip from within the “Brussels Bubble” as well as discover some of our best spirit drinks from European regions, with a particular focus this year on Calvados and Cognac.
